The Heart of Lor
Whitesage Cay is a small island off the Southeastern tip of the larger Haplen Isle and is typically considered to be part of the Haplen Isle territory. The island is only a few miles wide and consists mostly of wilderness with a small mountain range rising along the Eastern side. Almost all edges of the island lead to steep, rocky cliffs, save for the south where the highlands slowly descend down to a sandy beach and the only settlement, Skargness.
The highlands of the area are known for an indigenous, flowery plant for which the Cay is named: Whitesage. This flora’s thick stalk can be refined into a potent extract which the local brewers of Skargness use in their famously strong ale.
